Wow! What A Nice Surprise We Had Tonight!

I thought we were going shopping tonight but something better happened! The humans that live next door (we call them Aunt Wendy and Uncle Merle) stopped by to see us. Aunt Wendy always brings us nice things and tonight she brought Doggie Stogies. They are treats that look like cigars. Safire, Sammy and I really, really liked them! So it was better than going shopping after all! Then, I saw deer in the field again and I ran out and barked at them. They ran away as fast as they could when they saw me coming. I'm going to catch them one of these times. I wonder if they'll play with me? What kind of games do you play with deer? Maybe just see who can run faster? Tonight is the kind of night that makes be glad to be a dog. The humans in my life are so good to me that I just want to do everything I can to make them happy. Just before I posted this message I was laying at Aunt Wendy's feet and she was petting me. Ahhhh, life is good for me. I think I'll drift off to dreams out here on the deck ...

Spencer... what a nice life you have. I have it good here too. Sleep, eat, go out, bark at rabbits, beg neighbors for treats, go in, take a nap. Go out, bark at rabbits till Mom yells and brings me in. (Get treat even though I nuisance barked.) Take a nap. Eat dinner when Mommy eats dinner. Go out, bark at rabbits, go in get treat and take a nap...well, you get the idea. Mommy loves me so much cause I am her only boy at home anymore. I would like to meet you and your sisters sometime, but I hate going in the car and I cry cause Mommy makes me go in the crate. Maybe someday I will get to meet you. I hope you have fun with your master and your fun toys, and try not to miss Ella too much. I'm sure she misses you too, and maybe you will get to see her sometime again. Till then, just stay close to her toys and you will feel like she is with you. Love, your cousin Casey.

I would like to meet you too! I understand that going bye-bye in the car can be a bit trying but it's fun when you get used to it. Maybe my Mom and Dad will bring me to see you sometime. Keep barking at the rabbits. I still think that they can bark back but they just don't want to.

Love,

Spencer
